Bryan Block is one of the two attorneys of Sris, P.C. who practices in the Richmond area.  He is a former Virginia State Trooper with 15 years of experience in criminal and traffic investigation.  He has been certified as a Level I Accident Investigator, Traffic Radar Operator and a Breathalyzer Operator.  During his time as a Virginia State Trooper, he was a nationally certified breath test operator and was also NHTSA trained on field sobriety testing.  During his career with the State Police, he was assigned to jurisdictions from southern to central Virginia and gained a reputation for aggressive and skillful DUI, Reckless Driving, Hit-and Run, and Criminal Violation enforcement. In 1999, he was severely injured during a police pursuit of a criminal reckless driving and hit-and run suspect.  Following his recovery, he was retired from duty and attended the University Of Richmond School Of Law .  Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a lawyer representing creditors in Chapters 7 and 13 Bankruptcy matters.

He now represents clients charged with DUI, reckless driving, speeding, driving on suspended operator's licenses, and criminal charges.  He also assists clients in the field of family law.  His intimate knowledge of police practices and procedure makes him one of the most qualified lawyers in Virginia to assist clients charged with serious traffic and criminal violations.  The excellent training he recieved as a Virginia State Trooper enables him to use his training on behalf of the clients he defends now.

Additionally, he handles Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy cases for the firm.  His previous experience representing creditors gives him special insight that he now puts to use representing consumers who find themselves unable to cope with debts they are unable to pay.

If you find yourself in a situation where only an expert attorney can get you out of a problem and you recognize that your investment in your legal defense is not a concern, then Mr. Block's representation may make the difference between an acquittal and a guilty verdict.
