I got a pulled over and charged with a DUI as I blew a 0.1 10 days ago. This is my first alcohol related offense but I do have a reckless driving charge where I have a 30 day jail suspended sentence. I needed an attorney that would fight my case to avoid and assist me in postponing the court date so that I might attend classes and do lots of community service.

Once again I wanted to express my appreciation to you for defending me and getting my charged reduced today. From what you were saying today regarding the judge and the prosecutor, we were against some odds. However, I am truly pleased that the charge was reduced and thank you for your counsel during these past few months.

 

Just a quick point of clarification...I believe that you told me that the charge was reduced from 46.2-862 to 46.2-870. Is that correct?

 

I also wanted to verify that this speeding charge is not considered a criminal charge , but a traffic violation. I want to make sure that I have the appropriate understanding per other dialogue that we have had.

I wanted to thank you again for your excellent support of our case.  It was well done from beginning to end and greatly appreciated.  Brandon told me that he passed along the fact that he had gotten the certificate from Art and delivered it as instructed.  He might have mentioned that Art was still without power on Friday and his cell phone had lost its charge as well--in addition to the gigantic tree lying in his front yard.  Art was just leaving to drop off the certificate when Brandon arrived in front of his house, and Brandon then took it to the Judicial Center.  Again, the satisfactory resolution of this case was very important to Brandon for a variety of reasons, and we all applaud your fine support.

I was stopped by the police on my way to from DC to Dulles Airport. I was in a hurry because we were a bit late to a flight. I drove in the left lane, following the pace there and was surprised when the police suddenly waved me in. I stopped and the officer told me that I had been driving 20 mph above the speed limit,. That's reckless driving i Virginia. Then the officer told me that my European driver's license wasn't valid. Suddenly I found my self charged with two charges. When I asked the officer what the consequences might be, the answer was: "Heavy fines or jail". I was of course upset and got in contact with Garrett Green at SRIS Law Group. He started working with the case immediately and from the first contact I felt that he knew what he was doing.. He told me what to do and gave me a lot of support and courage. When the day for my court appearance came, I was very nervous. But Mr Greene did a fantastic job. It ended up to only $ 100 in fine. Instead of reckless driving, I was only fined for speeding and the charge on invalid driver's license was dropped totally. I really can recommend Mr Greene - he is professional and work hard with your case.

In mid-July 2008, I met Ms. Hadeed via teleconference regarding a recent traffic infraction that I had received. She was very professional from our first meeting to the final outcome of my case that was dismissed. We always kept in contact by email. If I had any questions, she was available to answer them. I found her to be very knowledgeable. She had mentioned to me about a Speedometer Calibration Test which measures speed accuracy at various speeds. I had never heard of this and I wasted no time researching on the Internet as to where I could have such a test done.
